About JEKINO
For more than 30 years Jekino is delivering dynamic and diverse child and youth films. Jekino is an organisation where culture, entertainment and education go hand in hand. Jekino is known as a distributor specialised in childfilm, as a cultural partner and as a knowledge centre for everything about children, film and media. Films and workshops customised for kids and youngsters find their way through Jekino to schools, to cinemas, to cultural centers and to the livingroom! In 2007 Jekino received the Flemish Cultural Award on Film for it's 30 years of efforts in delivering quality movies to the (young) people.
  
Jekino Distributie is the right address for anyone who wants to organise a film presentation (also in schools) and who is looking for an appropriate movie. We will guide you through our own extended movie catalogue (more than 250 films!) or act as a rental service for all films available in Belgium! Many of our films come with an educational folder full of background information and class exercises.
All copyrights and screening rights will be arranged for you. If needed, we also deliver the projection equipment for DVD presentations.
 
Jekino Educatie supports you in the realisation of your film making ideas. From watching films to making your own movies... Jekino will get you there! A team of specialised co-workers will guide kids, teenagers and their supervisors in their first steps into the (audio)visual world.
Take a look at our workshop offer for 2009. Also projects customised to your needs are possible: making a movie about Africa, a workshop about commercials, an hour filled with history of film, toddlers making their first audiovisual steps, … We will do it!
